《血污：夜之仪式》是一款哥特式风格的惊悚动作游戏，也是一款横向卷轴角色扮演游戏，故事背景设在18世纪的英格兰。一股超自然力量召唤了一座满是恶魔的城堡，并给水晶碎片注入了巨大的魔法力量。
扮演米丽亚姆，一个被炼金术士诅咒而导致身体正慢慢变成水晶的孤儿。为了拯救人类和她自己，米丽亚姆必须闯过这座城堡，打败召唤者格贝尔。
